Solar Plexus, the breathtaking new compilation album by the Mavins, was released to a frenzied audience on 8th May. The 13 track album is an infusion of pulsating club bangers, soulful ballads and instant classics. Songs like “O ma ga,” “Amarachi,” “Take Banana,” “Forever” and “Chocolate” have already become fan favourites.
Released with virtually no previous hype, the album and its various tracks trended on Twitter for days as fans debated their favourite songs and lyrics. In an unprecedented move, the album was made available completely free of charge to the public on the label’s website. The spike in internet traffic caused the website to crash several times before all fans were able to obtain their download.
Solar Plexus was also distributed on other music websites and is now available for download on ITunes, Amazon MP3, SPOTIFY, Medianet, eMusic, XBOX LIVE, NOKIA MUSIC STORE, SIMFY and GOOGLE PLAY.
