“I’ll Be There” is the perfect soundtrack for tying the knot. The singer-songwriter taps into his impressive falsetto for this timeless love song, serenading his muse with heartfelt lyrics that promise a lifetime of loyalty and dedication. The ballad’s moving instrumental is courtesy of Grammy nominated producer Louddaaa. When asked about his inspiration for the song, Spyce said: “I’ll be There is a song of reassurance for the people you love, just letting them know you’ll be there through thick and thin. It’s a very emotional and personal song because it’s inspired by my parents. I feel like they were a great example of healthy love to me.”
Boy Spyce’s artistic genius has been apparent ever since he graced the Nigerian music scene in 2022. His self-titled debut EP peaked at number one on the Nigerian Apple Music chart. His feature on the Mavin hit song “Overloading (Overdose)” further solidified his status as a musical prodigy. He was also named as one of the emerging artists to watch by Okay Africa in 2023.
