Renowned Rapper Ladipoe releases his first single of the year, “I No Be God”. This comes after “Ekwe”, the rousing year end single that featured Adekunle Gold and Kel P. The rap star started 2025 strong with two Headies nominations for his 2024 single “Hallelujah” featuring Rozzz and Morello. The release of “I No Be God” marks Ladipoe’s first solo single since “Big Energy” in 2022.
The rapper makes his singing debut with this melodic rap song, which interrogates the sometimes unrealistic expectations imposed on men in romantic relationships. On “I No Be God” Ladipoe plays the part of a candid loverboy who has finally come to terms with the limitations of his humanity, even as he reassures his muse of his enduring love for her.

Ladipoe has been nominated for several awards over the course of his career, including a BET Award nomination for Best International Flow, a Net Honors Awards Nomination for Most Played Hip Hop Song and over four Headies nominations for Best Rap Single and Lyricist on a Roll. In 2022, he won Best Rap Single at the Headies Awards for his hit song “Feeling”.
