• Aluku Timothy ( born on January 6, 1988 ), commonly known as Altims is an accomplished music producer and a disk jockey. A native of Delta State, his love for music began in the church like every other great musician.

As a keyboardist in his church choir, Altims quickly discovered how to make beat with Keyboard, after reading the entire manual. In 2006 as a 200 level student of Computer Engineering in University of Benin (UNIBEN), Altims decided to go into music production professionally having being inspired by Don Jazzy and Cobhams.

Luckily for him, he met a friend on campus who thought him how to make beats with FL Studio. During his undergraduate days, he also fell in love with the arts of deejaying. He deejayed in school for a while and had to stop to focus more on music production when he couldn’t afford to buy modern DJ equipment.

The creative music producer got signed to Mavin Records in 2012 after he was asked to be brought to the Mavin Empire by Don Jazzy who somehow heard a remake of a song off Solar Plexus album ( The first album from Mavin Records) done by him (Altims).

Altims who has a large number of hit songs under his belt has grown to become one of the most popular record producers in Nigeria. He rejuvenated his deejaying career recently and perfectly combines it with his music production career.

As a deejay, some of the major gigs he has played at include; Mavin Concert 2015, 2016 New Year Eve Concert in Kenya, Felabration 2016, Hennessey Event 2016 and American Honey event.
