Every year, on the 8th of March, women are collectively celebrated globally for their work and achievements in helping to create a better world for all humanity. It is a day when the world also raises awareness about the challenges of gender inequality and discrimination.
This year, ‘Inspire Inclusion’ is the theme of International Women’s Day. The aim is to create a more inclusive world for women where it becomes the norm to seek their contribution and presence wherever decisions of consequence are made.
Empowering women despite their differences and diversity, encouraging their growth in major industries, and aiding their advancement, education, participation, and access are some of the ways we can inspire inclusion.
For Mavin, this year, we celebrate the talents of women in the creative industries in Africa, encouraging them with resources and giving them a platform to shine, share, and inspire one another.
